We offer Gift Vouchers for any amount or any treatment. If you cannot get into the salon we can take payment by telephone and post out the vouchers to you, or directly to the person you are buying them for, it couldn't be easier! So why not treat someone today, gift vouchers make the perfect gift and are ideal for all occasions.
Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Please note, The Works accepts NO responsibility for vouchers not used within this time and will not under any circumstances extend the validation period.

We are located on Crookes main road, next door to the Noahs Ark Pub. The 52 bus route runs directly past the salon and run every 5 minutes throughout the day. If you are coming by bus from the city centre please ask for The Old Grindstone Pub and we are located a little further up the hill on the right hand side.
Should you be coming by car we have ample free parking outside the salon betwen the hours of 9.30 - 4.30, outside of these hours there is plently of parking in the laybys or on the side streets. Please type our postcode into your sat nav S10 1UG to bring you directly to the door!

Please give 24 hours notice of cancellation. As we are sure that you will appreciate we are a very busy salon and failure to cancel your appointment in time results in us not being able to fill the time allocated to you. Failure to do so will result in being charged for the wasted treatment time.

We accept all major Debit/Credit cards and cheques with guarantee cards.

Whilst we welcome children in the salon, please be aware that we are unable to look after them whilst you have your treatment. We also ask that you are respectful of the fact that other people will be having treatments and we would appreciate that you keep your child with you at all times. Please note that children are not allowed in the sunbed area, due to health and safety so it would be appreciated if you do not bring children under the age of 8 with you as they would be required to be left alone in the waiting area whilst you have your sunbed session.

The Works will not be held responsible for sunbed courses that are not used within the month specified. Please consider this if you are going on holiday etc as unlimited passes cannot be extended. Sunbed passes cannot be shared or transferred.
As a thank you to our loyal sunbed users we offer a unlimited renewal system, where as if you renew your pass before it expires we will offer you another month at the discounted price of £18.50, however if your pass has expired (even by 1 day) you will be charged in full. The Works accepts no responsibility for passes not renewed in time.

All our staff at The Works are fully Qualified Beauty Therapists and Nail Technicians trained to level 3 NVQ. All are also fully trained on the latest treatments we offer such as Microdermabrasion and the specialist IPL hair removal treatments. We endeavour to have refresher training frequently to ensure you get the very best advice and treatments.
The salon has been open since 1994 and has gained an excellent reputation throughout the years, we use only the finest and latest products to market with recognised professional brand names such as Guinot, Dermalogica, Cosmedico, Skin Base, Gelish, Nailtiques, CND, NSI, Nouveau Lashes and MYscara. So you can rest assured you are in safe hands!
